Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: gvfs

On the latest Jaunty Jackalope, I encounter problems transferring files
to my (Sony Ericsson) phone's memory card, which is a SanDisk Memory
Stick Micro (M2) card, capacity 4Gb. The transfer is done with USB.

It starts quite fast, then drop to ~800Kb/s, sometimes it hangs, then
resumes. I've seen a similar bug already, but it has around 150
comments, which is quite unbrowsable. Plus, I noticed that tags (artist,
track names) are randomly truncated on my phone.

GVFS version :
gvfs 1.2.2-0ubuntu1

uname -a :
2.6.28-11-generic #42-Ubuntu SMP Fri Apr 17 01:57:59 UTC 2009 i686 GNU/Linux

"cp" command and nautilus are equally inefficient on this problem.

** Affects: gvfs (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
