A humble apology is in order. My poor internet connection isn't helping me.
I installed 'globalmenu' and had not fully realised what it entailed, just wishing to try it out. I retrieved my menu's by sorting my hidden files, and found in /home/ben/.gconf/apps/gnome_settings_daemon/gtk- modules an xml file which - when removed, gave menu's back. I tried it out for a while and after deciding it's not for me, I disabled the globalmenu and everything is fine again. -- I have NO MENU IN GTK APPLICATIONS https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/380543 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gtk+2.0 in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
