You have been subscribed to a public bug: NOT A BUG JUST A REQUEST FOR BETTER FUNCTIONALITY
"open with gnome-terminal" doesn't work When in UBUNTU:FILE BROWSER ("places") , and seeing a list of FOLDERS and files, I right-click a FOLDER and see: OPEN WITH { DOLPHIN, KONQUEROR, GNOME-TERMINAL, etc} If I then click GNOME-TERMINAL, I get a terminal *BUT* with current-dir = ~ *WHEREAS* I desire that (in effect) a command "cd folder-path" would have been done. BY CONTRAST, if I open in KONQUEROR or DOLPHIN, these programs *DO* open "IN" the designated folder. ** Affects: gnome-terminal (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- for FOLDER, "open with "gnome-terminal" DOES NOT do a "cd" to the FOLDER https://bugs.edge.launchpad.net/bugs/373851 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-terminal in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
