Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: gnome-control-center

In karmic using KMS, gnome-display-properties shows both my laptop LCD
and my external monitor as 'Unknown'. I know it gave useful descriptors
to these in the past, so I think this is a regression connected to KMS
itself. In any event, it is a regression vs. jaunty.

/var/log/Xorg.0.log shows both a monitor name:

  (II) intel(0): Monitor name: L2210NW

and an EDID vendor for the internal display:

(II) intel(0): EDID vendor "LEN", prod id 16464
