Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gdm
When logging out (quitting), the gdm themed greeter appears properly, however, when using ctrl+alt+backspace to restart gdm, an error appears along the lines of "The greeter application appears to be crashing." Hitting ok then takes me to the non-themed greeter which works just fine. To reproduce: 1) Logout out into themed gdm greeter. 2) Ctrl+alt+backspace to restart gdm. Others have been having similar problems on the ubuntu forums.
