Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: evolution
I'm sorry to have to file this bug but I can't find a solution and maybe
it really is a bug. I recently migrated from Debian sid/squeeze to
Ubuntu januty and found evolution to be working fine. I recently moved
to Ubuntu karmic because I need gnome-terminal to save its sessions
correctly for the work that I'm doing. Since then, whenever I try to
send an e-mail, evolution crashes.
The reason I think that it may not be a bug is that I was experiencing
problems under Debian after I performed an upgrade which moved my
folders to sqlite while evolution was running (my mistake). But now,
since things worked fine under jaunty and the problem has just shown up
in karmic I'm filing this bug hoping that a fix can be found.
I've managed to get backtraces, etc. which I will attach to this report
to help find a fix. Please let me know if there's anything I else I can
do to get to bottom of this. I really hope that this bug can be fixed.
Thanks.
