Oh come on! Include a graphic equalizer in Rhythmbox ... Gstreamer already has the plugin available .... just give it a GUI!!
It's only on issues like this that I regret using GNOME. If GTK+/C weren't so convoluted I might consider having a go at developing one myself. But life is just too short for GTK+/C. It's kind of ironic, the minimalist desktop environment is powered by a pig's breakfast of a development stack, and the most offensively cluttered desktop environment is powered by a very rational one. Why?!!
