Version:

  Description: Ubuntu 9.04
  Release: 9.04

Expected:

I would expect to be able to change the sound level even if my mouse
is currently over a menu. I can normally adjust the sound through the
volume knob at the front of my laptop.

What happened:

No sound level changes when mouse has activated a menu and I try
turning the sound adjust knob on my laptop.

** Affects: gnome-applets (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
