Since Jeremy has tested the patch on b.g.o (it did not fix his problem)
and the symptoms are different from (although similar to) those reported
in bug #44058, I'm removing the bug watch.
@Jeremy: It may be worth filing your own bug report on gnome's bugzilla
with your unique systems, then post a link to that report here.
