Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: totem
I changed the screen resolution when attempting to use "duel monitors". After
getting "duel monitors" to work, Totem would crash when a file was played.
(A workaround to get totem playing files again is: "$ gstreamer-properties",
click "video", under "default output --> plugin", change from "autodetect" to
"X Window System (No Xv)"
Also, "Xorg" now uses 80% of the processor when using simple graphics or
even when scrolling through text files. When idle, Xorg is using 5%.
This problem is happening at all times.
