The core issue is that files (re)moved from other filesystems are not
accessible via the GUI.
In more concrete terms, the trash:/// URI should show *all* deleted
files. Use case:
I have a folder ~/ram, that I mount as a tmpfs filesystem. It's in
/etc/fstab as
<code>
# note that is 100% owned by the user *kevin*
none /home/kevin/ram tmpfs
defaults,noatime,size=1G,uid=kevin,gid=kevin,mode=0755 0 0
</code>
Because it's a separate filesystem, when I remove a file via nautilus
(click-on-file, strike-delete-key), the file gets moved to
~/ram/.Trash-$UID/ . This is correct; however. to empty my ram trash, I
have to resort to the command line.
I don't know the correct way to fix this, but I do know that this is
incorrect -- or at least incomplete -- behavior.
