Do you really think so ? Imagine we're on phone. If I want to tell you to go to /home/alex (e.g.), I just have to tell you "Open the Places menu, and select your folder". If there's an item called "Alex's documents", it will be fine... Another generic alternative, which would make sense, would be to go for a...
