They're not really my ideas as I'm just saying we should do what Sugar does. Actually I think an animation of the icons going to the clipboard might be too much. It would mean icons flying across the screen. The way it works in Sugar is just that a passive notification, showing the icon for the content that was cut or copied, pops up next to the clipboard when something is added.
