The upstream bug report has been closed as fixed now, with this comment:
"The Clock is integrated with Evolution today which provides setting alarms.
Hence closing as FIXED. There are no plans to duplicate functionality by
providing another interface for this."
As Ubuntu already ships this version, I'm closing this as fixed too.
