jaunty beta was running reasonably well on this IBM ThinkCentre A30 Celeron 2 
gHz with 1 gb memory i845 VGA graphics.
  
terminal, Firefox, etc. work, however:

Updates as of April, the center of the screen is black.  Top and bottom
lines still display and work except for anything involving nautilis,
like Places.  Spins for a while then drops out, no task bar on bottom
line, center of display black.

Try:
nautilus --no-desktop /home
gets
Segmentation fault (core dumped)

Where does the dump go?

Tried latest CD Live, 20090403, same result.

Anything I can try?
