Sebastien, Thank you for your response. I am not exactly sure if this problem is reproducible. I noticed that the Places menu was no longer responding after fiddling around for a while trying to use a2mp3 to convert m4p files to mp3. I had also attempted to use AtomicParsley because I mistook the purpose of that program. I do not know if either of those things had anything to do with the Places menu problem. sorry I cannot be more specific. Thanks again, Jericho
