I tried to uninstall some "gnome games," evolution, and abiword, but
they all also uninstall GNOME and the GNOME DESKTOP ENVIRONMENT. I'd
tried using terminal and only abiword uninstalled without affecting
GNOME and the GNOME DESKTOP ENVIRONMENT.
I was able to reinstall GNOME, which in turn also installed the GNOME
DESKTOP ENVIRONMENT, but all the programs come back.
