Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: totem
When a DVD is played directly from the disk, no sound accompanies the
playback. If the disk contents are opened with a file browser and the
.vob files executed individually, the sound and video playback is OK. I
have tried this on several different DVDs both commercially produced as
well as home brewed. The problem has been observed using different
optical drives on two different computers.
