Public bug reported:
After two updates (from DVD) from 5.10 on two machines there seems to be
a dependency-conflict between xscreensaver and gnome-screensaver.
1st PC: hangups after several minutes of screensaver.
when configuring xscreensaver it complains about the NOT running daemon, if the
daemon is started in this dialog. The severe hangups remain, although a
online-update seemed to clean the dependency problem (the xscreenserver entry
in system, settings was removed).
2nd PC: I removed xscreensaver, but any instance is flickering in
various frequency ~3-10Hz.
