I am on Karmic alpha 3 with all updates applied.
I select "Log off username..." from the System menu. The computer
correctly logs off and shuts down services etc. Now, it then
immediately logs in again as that same user. It does not give me a
login window, does not request a password, and so on.
Normally I only have one user (me) and root on my system. I tried
creating a second user just to see if it made a difference. It doesn't.
I'm marking it as a security issue because if a user uses this menu item
expecting correct behaviour, it could give someone else access to his or
her files.
