Public bug reported: Binary package hint: nautilus
I am trying to connect to a server via ftp that does a 127 redirect to the users home directory as described in Bug 46656. I attempted a workaround by putting a few '../'s into the ftp URL to get to the root directory and then use full path referencing to get to my directory. Nautilus reported that it couldn't connect to the server because it didn't exist. The URL it tried had the '../'s removed including the first backslash. e.g. If I attempted to connect to: ftp://mydomain.org/../stuff Nautilus reports that it couldn't connect to: ftp://mydomain.orgstuff ** Affects: nautilus (Ubuntu) Importance: Untriaged Status: Unconfirmed -- Nautilus or gnome-vfs does strange preprocessing on ftp urls https://launchpad.net/bugs/50738 -- desktop-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
