Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: gnome-power-manager

This is a wish! I would like to be able to define via the power-manager
a custom notification (time, text, etc.) when the battery is let's say
at 50%.

The reason is simple: when working for longer periods on AC it is wise
to remove the battery from the laptop (example [1] or search the web
for "store battery life with charge" or similar) but not leave it
completely discharged. What about having a simple notification to remind
when to take the battery out?

Best regards, Nikos

[1] From <http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lithium-ion_battery>: Lithium-ion
batteries should be charged early and often. However, if they are not
used for a long time, they should be brought to a charge level of around
40%–60%
