@Pedro - that would entail me more or less repeating what I have said
above; if you think rephrasing it in that way will make it easier to
understand, then here goes:

Well, I can reproduce it, otherwise I wouldn't be reporting it...

* If so, what specific steps should we take to recreate this bug?

When you open the date & time applet on the panel, you would see any
appointments you have created in evolution on the day prior to the
actual appointment as created. Further, when clicking on the day prior
that is in bold, it would show the appointment name (which should be on
the next day) and give an edit button. Hitting the edit button would
open evolution and show today's date instead of opening to the
appointment date.
