This sounds a lot like bug 398734 so I am marking it as a duplicate.
Rhythmbox should warn if it cannot access a library, not just move all
the files into Missing files. That bug has also been reported upstream
at http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=313754 so any further
comments would be best placed there.
