Public bug reported: Binary package hint: nautilus
[Problem] The 'Eject' command doesn't show up reliably after a CD has automounted in the cdrom. [Steps to Reproduce] 0. Open nautilus to the /media directory 1. Insert a CD 2. Wait until CD has automounted (directory listing shows up in a separate nautilus window) 3. In the /media window, right-click Expected behavior: "Unmount" and "Eject" are shown in the menu Actual behavior: "Unmount" is shown, but "Eject" is not. [Workaround] >From the /media window, doubleclick on the cdrom icon, to navigate to the >cdrom. Then click Back. Now the context menu includes 'Eject'. ** Affects: hundredpapercuts Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Affects: nautilus (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Nautilus doesn't show 'Eject' option reliably https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/419450 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to nautilus in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
