I just installed Ubuntu on my computer (medion ram 2080 notebook pc) on Vista. I checked the iso image, did exactly what was written in the installation guide. I wanted to create a double boot but it doesn't seem to have worked. I asked for using as much space as possible for Ubuntu on the computer. Had reserved 40Go partition place on Vista (non alloted). I also might have selected the wrong periph in the last sequence of installation (advanced, select periph) My sound card works normally with ndivia. This is all the information I now think about for resolving the problem.
