Its not happened since. I'm going back to ubuntu 32 bit with ext3 file
system which I do find to be more stable. I've had a few strange things
happening with the 64 bit version (eg. skype not working properly (reported
this to the medibuntu team) and firefox unexpectedly shutting down from time
to time (not reported).
