Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: gnome-session
After upgrading from Jaunty to Karmic today, I can no longer log into Gnome
desktop. All I can see is my wallpaper and (Gnome) mouse pointer. However,
launching an xterm session and then executing:
gnome-session & gnome-panel & compiz &
brings me a fully functional desktop.
