Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: nautilus

When I try to copy a directory from an smb:// share to a local
directory, nautilus gives me an error message and only creates a file
with the name of the remote directory in the local directory. This is
when using drag and drop in nautilus.

The error message says:

Error while copying "remote_dir".
There was an error copying the file into /home/sanne/local_dir.
More details >
No such file or directory

Things that /do/ work:
Copying a file from a remote smb:// share to a local directory.
Copying a directory from a remote smb:// share to another directory on the same
share.
Copying a directory from a remote smb:// share to a local directory from within
a terminal by using a `cp ~/.gvfs/remote_share/remote_dir ~`.

I'd be happy to provide any additional information.

Thanks for your attention.
