Scratch that... `aptitude install ubuntu-docs` indeed fixes the problem I noticed a symlink was created, and now opening epiphany automatically displays a "Welcome to Ubuntu" page :) # ls -l /usr/share/ubuntu-artwork/home/locales lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 42 2009-09-13 19:30 /usr/share/ubuntu-artwork/home/locales -> /etc/alternatives/firefox-homepage-locales Perhaps epiphany-browser install should detect whether ubuntu-docs is installed or not and use an appropriate homepage setting accordingly ? Adding a dependency to ubuntu-docs just to get index-C.html doesn't seem desireable, me thinks... -- File “/usr/share/ubuntu-artwork/home/locales/index-C.html” not found https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/428922 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to epiphany-browser in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
