Set 'switch_to_workspace_right' to XF86Forward and 'switch_to_workspace_left'
to XF86Back using "System/Preferences/Keyboard Shortcuts" GUI.
Be able to use these shortcuts after login/reboot

Set 'switch_to_workspace_right' to XF86Forward and 'switch_to_workspace_left'
to XF86Back using "System/Preferences/Keyboard Shortcuts" GUI.
Use these shorcuts until reload of metacity is necessary (logout/login or
reboot)
After the setting (until reboot) the file
.gconf/apps/metacity/global_keybindings/%gconf.xml contains:
