Thanks, but that is not a bug. That is because it is being replaced with
software-store, as stated in the changelog for gnome-menus. When running
a development release, it is useful to keep an eye on the changes,
either by looking at the changelog or subscribing to karmic-changes.

  * debian/patches/09_app_install_entry.patch:
    - use software-store rather than gnome-app-install (lp: #431882)
