Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: gdm

In the new GDM theme used in 9.10 preview, after a username + mugshot
has been selected in the GDM chooser, a password entry box is displayed
below.

This entry box is *not* focused by default. Additionally, if the user
is particularly fast at clicking on the password box to focus it with
the mouse, then fast at starting to type their password the focus maybe
moved "back" to the single-entry username box leaving only half of the
password entered.

Ideally, focus should be placed on the password box by default; and the
username widget should be made *non-focusable*, as at that point there
is only one entry displayed (the name of the user attempting to log in)
and the user therefore cannot interact with the username widget in any
useful way.

** Affects: gdm (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
