in Karmic Koala, when using apt-get or synaptic, the installation of
Gnome-panel fails with a cyclic dependency.
it will fail with libecal1.2-7 dependency error, but libecal1.2-7 will fail on
a further dependency error and so on
finally leading into a cyclic removal of libecal1.2-7 by one of the
dependencies by Gnome-control-center
