Binary package hint: evolution
It crashes w/o any error message on display. Only /var/log/messages says:

I'm using current evolution version 2.26.1 with spamassassin plugin
version 3.2.5 on eee pc with Ubuntu Netbook Remix 9.04 (kernel version
2.6.28-15-generic) and all current available updates for this version
installed.
