rhythmbox 0.12.5-0ubuntu1 is certainly marked as a dependences of libflac8. I'd updated to 0.12.5-0ubuntu1 before realising you were looking for an update. As I already have libflac8 installed I can't test on my system, but the dependency is captured so I believe its fixed.
