Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: gdm
I have my system encrypted. After typing my password, I can see the
system log while booting. gdm does not show up. Instead I will still see
tty8. Nothing happens when pressing crtl+alt+f7.
I have to go to another tty (e.g. tty1), log in and then run "sudo
service gdm restart". Then gdm appears and I can login and everything
works.
This may have something to do with encrypted partitions. The files
/etc/fstab and /etc/crypttab are attached.
