Binary package hint: gdm
My system keyboard layout as defined in /etc/default/console-setup is
"gb" - however the gdm greeter defaults to "USA".
I originally reported this as a confirmation of bug 401047, but that
ended up being about variants only, whereas my problem is that not even
layout configuration is propagated to gdm.
