Public bug reported:
one hour and a half , earlier i reported bug #447653, but have corrected by
restart.
everything checks out ok except there isn't any audio.
before i used audacious media player successfully with jaunty.
jaunty by it self gave no audio.
i read a bug report that audacious might be involved with crash of jaunty libc6.
jaunty crashed on me bug #433321.
only corrections that got things going again was to update to karmic kola.
