I'm not sure it is reproducible, but these are the steps that led to the problem:
I manualy started the Update Manager and updated the system. When the update finished, the system restarted, but it did not responded to mouse or keyboard events so I rebooted it using the power button. This time the boot process stalled with a blank screen and the HDD LED constantly on, so I rebooted once more, and everything was OK. I got the crash icon on the top panel, so I took the steps for reporting the problem. -- gnome-panel assert failure: ERROR:dbus-gproxy.c:1051:dbus_g_proxy_manager_unregister: assertion failed: (link != NULL) https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/446240 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is a bug assignee. -- desktop-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
