I'm not sure it is reproducible, but these are the steps that led to the
problem:

I manualy started the Update Manager and updated the system. When the
update finished, the system restarted, but it did not responded to mouse
or keyboard events so I rebooted it using the power button. This time
the boot process stalled with a blank screen and the HDD LED constantly
on, so I rebooted once more, and everything was OK. I got the crash icon
on the top panel, so I took the steps for reporting the problem.
