Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: gnome-panel

on startup, the gnome system monitor applet sometimes has a "shrinked"
view - it's horizonal dimension is ok but it's vertical is shrinked.

it only happens sometimes and only on gnome startup. the applet is working (i
can see dots sometimes when its showing high activity) and clicking it will
start the system monitor.
this image show the bug:
http://img337.imageshack.us/i/monitorsshrinked.png/

you can see the sys-mon in the upper panel in the middle between the
"force-kill" applet and the "workspace switcher". it currently has the
cpu, memory and network monitors.

rest of info is in the auto report.

it happens also on my laptop - 32bit 9.04 lenove c3000 - so it's
probably not hardware\architecture related.

thanks,
itai.
