There are two reasons that I don't use NetworkManager.
1. I use a mobile broadband module (E-MOBILE D02HW), but this can't
establish the connection when using NetworkManager. Almost all
mobile broadband modules used in Japan can't be used by
NetworkManager, so there are few people who use this software on a
mobile computer in Japan. (However, I use NetworkManager on SHARP
NetWalker PC-Z1 smartbook because NetworkManger was modified by
SHARP and works well.)
2. I want to share the internet connection by multiple machines. For
this, the gateway address for LAN connections must be left empty on
a route machine, but NetworkManager arbitrarily set those to 0.0.0.0.
Next week, I will try to build gnome-system-tools from sources with
debug options and make backtrace again.
