Binary package hint: gdm
The new Version of GDM is much less configurable as the old Version. One
thing that is really a loss is the ability of using XML-based Themes.
There are many good GDM-Themes out there, but they all aren't compatible
with this Version.
I wrote this Bug-Report because I thinks that this has to be fixed as
soon as possilbe. There are many users out there that wish to be able to
customize the login in that ways. Ubuntu Karmic was the first
Distribution that was tough enough to use this new GDM-Version finally.
And I hope that this will give some Input to make the new GDM as good as
the Old was.
