Binary package hint: yelp
If I enable Desktop Effects (through System->Appearance menu), my VNC
Client stops getting updated image data over Remote Desktop. The client
only sees the desktop wallpaper. The client can still control the
remote machine, if I watch the computer physically I can see the mouse
cursor moving around and clicking on things, but the client sees only
Desktop Background. This was also a problem in Jaunty which has not
been resolved yet. Turning off all Desktop Effects resolves the
problem.
