Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: gnome-power-manager
Using Jaunty on my Thinkpad X60s, both Fn+F3 to show the battery status and
Fn+F12 do hibernate (suspend to disk) worked flawlessly. But on Karmic both
keys are ignored, though hibernate works fine using the user applet (the one
usually located in the upper panel in the right corner) or issuing "sudo
pm-hibernate" in the terminal.
Both keys create an acpi event:
% acpi_listen [9:09]
ibm/hotkey HKEY 00000080 00001003
ibm/hotkey HKEY 00000080 0000100c
(thats Fn+F3 and Fn+F12 respectively)
