Public bug reported: Binary package hint: yelp
I was updating then got this message in 9.10 Ubuntu installed on an Acer Aspire 4736Z, an error occurred, please run Package Manager from the right click menu or apt get in a terminal to see what is wrong. The error message was: "Error: Opening the cache (E:Malformed line 54 in source list /ect/apt/sources. list (dist parse) , E:The list of sources could not be read.)"This usually means that your installed packages have unmet dependencies. This is the sole OS on my laptop and it boots directly I am unable to start in safe mode as on my desk top. I am a computer dude, help!? ** Affects: yelp (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- can not update error message malformed line 54 source list/ect/apt/sources https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/459675 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to yelp in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
