Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: yelp

I am using Ubuntu 9.10 - the Karmic Koala - released in October 2009 and
supported until April 2011.

My problem is that my computer does not shut down or restart after the upgrade
from 9.04.(9.04 was working really perfect).
The monitor shows the message 'no input signal' just like after every shut down
on Windows OS but the all the fans and hard disks continues to work until i
push the power button.

My motherboard is ASUS with NForce 4 chipset and amd athlon 64 x2 3800+
cpu.
