Public bug reported: Binary package hint: rhythmbox
Here's a link to the stream: http://friskyradio.com/frisky_aac.m3u It is expected that this stream is played smoothly and without any gaps. Just like any MP3 stream for example. But this stream sounds like a skipping CD from time to time. It is also can be seen that it is constantly buffering so the progress bar never fils. Actually, buffering progress bar looks like a volume meter rather than a buffering progress bar itself :-) I attached a video capture of what happening when I try to playback this AAC+ stream ProblemType: Bug Architecture: i386 CheckboxSubmission: daaf2ec3d02b7f2cf1e4b62a44b1ac24 CheckboxSystem: edda5d4f616ca792bf437989cb597002 Date: Fri Oct 30 17:50:13 2009 DistroRelease: Ubuntu 9.10 ExecutablePath: /usr/bin/rhythmbox InstallationMedia: Ubuntu 9.10 "Karmic Koala" - Release i386 (20091028.5) NonfreeKernelModules: nvidia Package: rhythmbox 0.12.5-0ubuntu4 ProcEnviron: LANG=ru_UA.UTF-8 SHELL=/bin/bash ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 2.6.31-14.48-generic-pae SourcePackage: rhythmbox Uname: Linux 2.6.31-14-generic-pae i686 ** Affects: rhythmbox (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: apport-bug i386 -- Rhythmbox constantly buffering when playing AAC+ stream https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/465059 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to rhythmbox in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
