Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gnome-media
The new gnome-volume-control in Karmic can't change from digital to analog output, unless I enable IEC958 Output with gnome-alsamixer. Without manually enabling IEC958 Output changing from analog to IEC958 in gnome-volume-control does nothing. This doubles the work to get IEC958 Output instead of just enabling it with gnome-volume-control I also have to enable it with gnome-alsamixer.
