Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: empathy

opened empathy selected "create new account" filled out pertinent info
regarding a yahoo protocol when i clicked connect nothing happened there
was a no/go symbol (do not enter sign) next to the new yahoo account bar
in the add box when i clicked it it told me no backend protocol was
installed for the protocol i was using what does this MEAN?????????? I
installed the telepathy core with no luck how do i create a new yahoo?
Also when i ran the assistant it seemed to im port the info from pidgin
and tried to work and for a reason i cant remember now i clicked the
help button and the whole thing froze and wouldnt let me do any thing
desktop or otherwise. after restarting my system all the imported info
was gone which lead to my current situation.
